Automotive Dealership Service Technician
About The Position
Fox Motors is hiring a Service Technician at Fox Ann Arbor Acura in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The position performs diagnoses and repairs for customer and internal vehicles, with specialization in specific areas of repair and maintenance. The technician helps ensure customer satisfaction by completing work efficiently and accurately, communicating with the parts department, Service Manager, and Service Advisor, and building customer trust and long-term relationships. Requirements
- One year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications are preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Perform work outlined on repair orders efficiently and accurately in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
- Diagnose the cause of vehicle malfunctions and perform repairs.
- Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
- Communicate with the Service Manager and Service Advisor to complete jobs in a timely manner.
