Automotive Dealership Service Technician
About The Position
Fox Motors is hiring a Service Technician at Fox Ann Arbor Nissan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The Service Technician performs diagnoses and repairs on customer and internal vehicles, with specialization in specific areas of repair and maintenance. The role supports customer satisfaction by completing repair work efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards, and communicating with the parts department, Service Manager, and Service Advisor to complete jobs in a timely manner. Fox Motors seeks someone with previous automotive experience, a customer-focused approach, and a desire to contribute in a growing environment.
Requirements
- One year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications are preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Perform work outlined on repair orders efficiently and accurately in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
- Diagnose the cause of vehicle malfunctions and perform repairs.
- Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
- Communicate with the Service Manager and Service Advisor to complete jobs in a timely manner.
