The Service Technician is accountable for performing the duties and responsibilities described below. This role involves comprehensive diagnostic inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on various recreational vehicles (RVs). Responsibilities include servicing LP/propane gas systems, electrical systems (12V DC / 120V AC), plumbing, water heaters, sanitation equipment, and interior mechanical systems such as HVAC units, furnaces, refrigerators, slide-out mechanisms, and power awnings. The technician will also perform structural, carpentry, roofing, and body maintenance, ensuring weatherproofing and seal integrity. A key part of the role is conducting pre-delivery inspections (PDI) for new and used RVs, executing routine maintenance, and ensuring adherence to safety and environmental guidelines. Administrative tasks include documenting work performed in the dealer management system, collaborating with Service Advisors and Parts Managers, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
