About The Position

Blossman Gas & Appliance is seeking Service Technicians or Service Apprentices for their growing location in Bowdon, GA. Service Technicians install propane tanks for residential and commercial customers, and service/maintain gas comfort equipment. The Service Technician role is ideal for those with prior propane, appliance installation/repair, or mechanical experience. Apprenticeship positions do not require experience but benefit from prior mechanical work, tool use, and a commitment to learning a trade. Both roles offer growth potential, with apprenticeships leading to higher technician statuses upon meeting educational requirements.

Requirements

Prior propane experience (for Service Technician).
Prior appliance installation/repair experience (for Service Technician).
Prior mechanical experience (for Service Technician).
Customer service skills.
Occasional on-call duty.
Strong commitment to safety.
Some prior mechanical work (for Apprentices).
Use of hand tools (for Apprentices).

Responsibilities

Install propane tanks for residential and commercial customers.
