About The Position

Blossman Gas & Appliance is seeking a Service Technician or Service Apprentice for their growing market in the Cherokee County, AL area. This role offers a career opportunity with stability in the propane industry. The company is the largest independent propane company in America with over 80 branch locations across 12 states. Service Technicians are responsible for installing propane tanks for residential and commercial customers, and for installing, servicing, and maintaining gas comfort equipment such as water heaters, dryers, ranges/stoves, fireplaces, and generators. This position is ideal for individuals with prior propane, appliance installation/repair, or mechanical experience who prefer to work locally. The role involves customer service, occasional on-call duties, and teamwork. There is significant growth potential within the company. A strong commitment to safety is essential.

Requirements

Prior propane or other related experience preferred.
Valid CDL license strongly preferred.
Customer service skills.
Ability to work locally in the Centre / Cherokee County, AL area.

Nice To Haves

Prior propane experience.
Prior appliance installation/repair experience.
Prior mechanical experience.
Hazmat endorsement on CDL.

Responsibilities

Install propane tanks for residential and commercial customers.
Install, service, and maintain gas comfort equipment including water heaters, dryers, ranges/stoves, fireplaces, and generators.
Provide customer service.
