About The Position

Gilroy Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is seeking a skilled CDJR Service Technician to join our team in Gilroy, California. This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry. As a CDJR Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles, performing routine maintenance tasks, and providing excellent customer service to our clients.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications preferred
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Excellent mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong customer service and communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to follow dealership and manufacturer standards and procedures
Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify and diagnose mechanical issues
Perform repairs and maintenance tasks according to dealership and manufacturer standards
Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues
Communicate effectively with customers and provide them with updates on their vehicle's status
Keep accurate and detailed records of all services and repairs performed
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Continuously update knowledge and skills through training and staying up-to-date on industry advancements
Comply with all safety and regulatory standards
