About The Position

Great Lakes Petroleum is a fuel delivery and fuel management services provider that has operated since 1976. The Service Technician provides professional field service and customer support, including installation, startup, repair, and maintenance of products as needed. The position involves onsite tank work, diagnosing technical problems, recommending solutions, and building positive customer relationships. On-call availability is required for contamination, marine, and spill situations. Travel out of town or state may be required for projects.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR).
• Ability to meet and maintain Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) physical requirements.
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
• Ability to drive to various locations for work.
• Familiarity with mobile tools and applications.

Nice To Haves

• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred but not required.
• Prior experience in fuel tank installation and maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.
