The Maintenance/Service Technician reports directly to the Service Manager and is responsible for performing make-ready repairs to all vacant units prior to move-in. This role involves a wide range of maintenance duties, including timely repairs to make-ready units, assisting other staff members, inspecting property for improvements, and performing work order requests. The technician is also responsible for 24-hour on-call duties as scheduled, inventory control assistance, ensuring grounds are litter-free, operating and maintaining equipment, and knowing emergency cut-off locations. The position requires adherence to company policies, maintaining a clean maintenance shop, and being available for snow events. Professional appearance, a good attitude, and team spirit are emphasized, along with flexibility to assist at other sites or transfer properties if needed. After-hours on-call is required on a rotating basis, and reliable transportation is a must.
