About The Position

Atlas Bobcat, part of the Atlas Companies, is currently hiring full-time Service Technicians to join our new branch opening in Kankakee, IL. Any level of experience is welcome to apply! Requirements

General mechanical knowledge and experience; experience with hydraulics, electrical or drive systems is preferred but not required.
Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment in industrial or automotive industries.
Strong communications skills.
A willingness to learn and be trained.
The ability to manage time and attendance. You must be dependable, self-motivated and be able to work in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience with hydraulics, electrical or drive systems

Responsibilities

Identify, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on equipment using Bobcat technical software.
Perform preventative maintenance per manufacture specifications.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products sold and serviced by Atlas Bobcat.
Keep the service lead informed of all current and potential issues related to service repairs.
Maintain an inventory of necessary and customary technician tools in good working condition.
Complete service repair assignments in timely manner.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety guidelines.
Performing other duties as assigned.
