About The Position

ALL Sunshine Crane Rental Corp. is seeking a Crane, Truck and Heavy Equipment Service Technician & Diesel Mechanic. Hands-on experience with cranes and lift equipment or heavy duty trucks is a big plus. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a comprehensive benefits package. This position is eligible for a $300.00 sign-on bonus after 100 days of continuous employment.

Requirements

Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
Strong diesel engine, hydraulic and electrical background
Basic set of mechanic’s hand tools
Ability to work safely around moving machinery
Ability to work in conditions with marked changes in temperature & humidity
Able to lift 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

Hands-on experience with cranes and lift equipment or heavy duty trucks
Previous experience with Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks
A CDL is desirable but not required

Responsibilities

Troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on all makes of cranes, heavy duty trucks and other equipment
Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify components as needed
Read, understand and interpret operating manuals, parts manuals, and technical drawings
Positive interface with service writers, supervisor, parts department and customers
Prepare proper documentation of actions taken
Work with diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting and repairs
Maintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulations
Willingness to learn new computer, electronic and hydraulic systems
Follow safety guidelines as they evolve in our industry
Remain certified within the various portions of our field such as assembly, disassembly, and troubleshooting
