About The Position
Central Stone Company has an immediate opening for a Crane & Heavy Equipment Operator position at our Jefferson Barracks location, in St. Louis, MO. This is a full-time, hourly position with the local Operators 513, working day hours, Monday – Friday, with occasional Saturdays depending on the season.
Requirements

- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience operating large sized cranes & heavy equipment
- Ability to perform rigorous physical activities in all weather conditions
- Self-motivated with a solid work ethic
Responsibilities
- Follow all safety and environmental rules, regulations and procedures as set forth by company policies and MSHA
- Operating Manitowoc 4000 Crane unloading barges, operating Komatsu PC650 excavator unloading fertilizer barges, Grove 70t crane unloading rebar from railcars, operating various quarry equipment, and performing maintenance on terminal processing equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and pre-shift inspections; repair and/or clean equipment as needed
- Communicate with plant management team on all safety, maintenance, and production needs
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
