About The Position

Vermeer All Roads is expanding in Medina, OH, and is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic. This full-time, benefits-eligible role offers a competitive hourly rate and production bonuses for individuals who are detail-oriented and mechanically inclined, to repair Vermeer machinery and components.

Requirements

• Experienced Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic
• Hydraulics, electrical, and hydrostatic experience required for diagnosing equipment malfunctions

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer equipment as directed by the Branch Service Manager
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions; hydraulics, electrical, and hydrostatic experience required
• Recommend appropriate repairs and create accurate cost estimates
• Perform welding/fabrication as needed
• Apply current industry/technical advancements in daily work
• Maintain accurate, detailed repair records
• Communicate with the factory for technical assistance
• Perform other duties as assigned
