About The Position

McDougall Energy is looking for an experienced Service Technician Lead Hand to join their team in Teeswater. The Service Technician is an integral member of the Service team responsible for providing exceptional service with an unwavering focus on safety. Their technical skills will be a crucial part in delivering their commitment to their customers. Reporting to the Service Manager, responsibilities include completing regulatory inspections (Oil “comprehensive”, Propane “gas check”, Commercial Fuel “PFO Inspection”), acting as a senior field technician who combines hands-on technical work with crew leadership, participating in training and mentoring/coaching Service Technicians and new hires, reporting personnel issues to the Service Manager, completing TSSA Technician Audits as required, completing Job Observations for Service Technicians, maintaining propane tanks (purging, re-valving, reconditioning), completing other duties as required, and adhering to all safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • G2 Gas Technician
  • 1 to 5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong problem solving and customer service skills
  • Solid time management and organizational skills, including the ability to effectively plan service routes and optimize efficiencies.

Nice To Haves

  • OBT, PM3, LP licenses
  • Boom truck, fork-truck experience
  • Valid Driver’s Licenses – DZ

Responsibilities

  • Completing regulatory inspections Oil “comprehensive”, Propane “gas check”, Commercial Fuel “ PFO Inspection”
