About The Position

This position at Whaley Foodservice involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial cooking kitchen equipment, refrigeration, and/or HVAC systems. The technician will communicate repair status and parts orders with customers and the branch office, complete service calls accurately and in a timely manner, and audit truck stock. Maintaining the service vehicle, tools, and uniforms to Whaley standards is also a key responsibility, along with meeting on-call requirements.

Requirements

Three years experience in commercial kitchen repair and or refrigeration/HVAC.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid Driver's license and driving record that aligns with our safety standards.
Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required.

Nice To Haves

Automotive, electrical, installation, and mechanical background is a plus.
Journeyman License and or CFESA certification not required, but would be a plus.

Responsibilities

Properly diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking kitchen equipment, refrigeration, and or HVAC.
Communicate repair status updates with customer and branch office.
Communicate parts order(s) with branch.
Completes service calls accurately and in a timely manner.
Audits truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked.
Maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms consistent with Whaley standards and safety first.
Meet on-call requirements.
