About The Position
General Parts Group is seeking experienced Service Technicians to join their team. This role involves servicing and repairing restaurant equipment at various customer locations, including restaurants, hospitals, schools, and commercial kitchens. The company has a strong history, supporting a large field service force across 26 states and encouraging technicians to pursue CFESA training certifications, with many achieving 'Master Certification'. They service cooking, refrigeration, beverage, HVAC, and ware washing equipment, emphasizing both customer satisfaction and employee well-being.
Requirements
- Experience working on commercial kitchen equipment
- Valid driver's license
- EPA certification required for refrigeration techs
- Ability to work independently in the field
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Commercial cooking equipment (fryers, ovens, grills)
- Experience in Commercial refrigeration (walk-ins, ice machines, reach-ins)
- Combo technicians (experience in both cooking and refrigeration)
- CFESA training certifications
- Master Certification designation
