About The Position

This role involves inspecting, maintaining, and repairing various fire protection systems and equipment, including Portable & Fixed Gas Detection Systems, Scott (3M) and MSA SCBA’s, and emergency shower and eyewash stations. The technician will also be responsible for administrative tasks such as entering work orders for billing, processing rental orders using specific software, and providing quotes to customers. The company provides on-the-job and manufacturer training, and manufacturer certification is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Two to five years related experience and/or training preferred
• Manufacturer certification is preferred; on-the-job training and Manufacturer training is provided

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair Portable & Fixed Gas Detection Systems
• Inspect, maintain, and repair Scott (3M) and MSA SCBA’s, including functional testing
• Inspect, maintain, and repair emergency shower and eyewash stations
• Enter work orders and submit for billing in a timely manner
• Process rental orders using the rental software
• Provide quotes for repairs and rentals to the customer
• All other duties as assigned.
