About The Position

Henderson Hyundai Superstore is hiring an experienced Service Technician Class A for its high-volume service department, which averages more than 2,000 repair orders per month. The dealership welcomes Hyundai, import, other-franchise, and independent-shop technicians. Technicians who are not Hyundai-certified may be supported in obtaining Hyundai certification, with opportunities for continued growth. The role offers pay of up to $50+ per flat-rate hour and a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 for qualified hires. Relocation assistance is available. Flexible shifts and hours, four-day workweeks for qualified candidates, and guaranteed hours for elite performers may be available.

The position is based in a remodeled, state-of-the-art shop with heating and air conditioning, LED lighting, high-speed service doors, and parts runners. The dealership also offers paid Hyundai and ASE certifications, a tool assistance program, and career advancement opportunities. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required. Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license in the state of residence.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Strong diagnostic skills, especially in electrical and drivability issues.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a Hyundai, import, other-franchise, or independent-shop technician.
• Hyundai certification; technicians without it may receive help obtaining certification.
• Production of 80, 100, or 120+ flat-rate hours is referenced as a basis for discussing the opportunity, not stated as a minimum requirement.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair orders efficiently and accurately, following Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose the cause of vehicle malfunctions.
• Complete work according to applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to verify repair quality.
• Record repair time using company time-clocking procedures.
• Document work performed and test procedures and results on repair orders.
