About The Position

This role is responsible for all preventative maintenance and repair work on elevators. The technician will respond to calls about malfunctioning equipment, troubleshooting the machinery until the problem can be diagnosed and solved. This includes checking wiring and parts for signs of wear, replacing parts as needed, oiling gears, and testing electrical systems to ensure the elevator unit is running safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Electrical skills and schematic reading
• Willingness to work long hours if needed
• Comfortable with heights and working on ladders
• Capable of lifting 50lbs or more
• Capable of hard physical work
• Ability to work in confined spaces (attics)
• Knowledgeable and experienced in proper use of hand tools
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Pass pre-employment criminal background check
• Pass pre-employment drug screen
