Service Team Member
About The Position
Crew Members are an important part of El Pollo Loco restaurants and provide excellent customer service to guests. As a Cashier, you greet guests warmly and courteously, help them feel welcome, and may run the drive-thru station. You work with a team to provide fast, efficient service and excellent guest experiences. Full-time and part-time hours are available. El Pollo Loco promotes from within, with career paths from Crew Member to Shift Leader, Assistant Manager, General Manager, and beyond. An EPL-logo shirt is provided; black pants or jeans and no-slip shoes are required.
Requirements
- Ability to speak and read English.
- Ability to speak effectively with external customers.
- A food handler card where applicable.
- Black pants or jeans and no-slip shoes are required.
Nice To Haves
- One or more years of experience in a restaurant or customer service position.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Customer service skills.
- Experience entering orders into a Point-Of-Sales (POS) system.
- Ability to speak a second language.
