About The Position

We are seeking a motivated Service Support Specialist to join a fast-paced customer support environment. In this role, you will assist clients with benefits, payroll, and system-related inquiries while providing high-quality service and troubleshooting support. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in HR/payroll systems and client-facing support within a collaborative and growth-oriented team.

Requirements

  • 6+ months of customer service experience (call center, office, or retail)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Experience multitasking across multiple computer applications
  • High School Diploma or GED required

Nice To Haves

  • Call center experience supporting benefits, payroll, or HR systems
  • Case management or troubleshooting experience
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
  • Experience with multiple software platforms or technical tools

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound customer calls related to benefits, payroll, and account support
  • Assist clients with Open Enrollment processes and Affordable Care Act (ACA) inquiries
  • Troubleshoot issues related to benefit plans, payroll configurations, and system errors
  • Schedule and lead virtual client meetings to walk through system updates and changes
  • Guide clients through updates such as employee self-service, benefit plans, and carrier connections
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (brokers, carriers) to resolve client issues
  • Collect and organize data to support reporting and system updates
  • Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of client cases
  • Support clients with reviewing and submitting ACA documentation within required timelines
  • Assist with small payroll-related projects and internal support initiatives
  • Use multiple systems simultaneously to manage client information and case updates
