About The Position

The Service Supervisor supports the front-of-house food service team by overseeing daily operations, training service staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with sanitation and safety guidelines. This working supervisor role helps ensure a positive guest experience while fostering a strong team culture.

Requirements

1-2 years of food service or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Train and guide new service staff on proper food portioning, guest interaction, and service standards.
Support the Service Manager in scheduling, supervising, and evaluating team members.
Assistwith employee conflict resolution and performance coaching.
Ensure serving lines are properly garnished, clean, and well-organized.
Maintain a friendly and helpful approach when interacting with guests.
Communicate service-related concerns to both kitchen and front-of-house teams.
Help set up serving areas in a timely and organized manner.
Create signage for menus and special events.
Assist in decorating and maintaining the front-of-house dining area.
Attend and help lead safety committee meetings; post and share minutes.
Follow proper dress code and hygiene standards.
Adhere to company, state, and federal sanitation and safety regulations.
Read all posted updates, procedures, and safety guidelines.
