We are currently seeking a Service Scheduler to support our unprecedented growth by providing support to our Florida area. The ideal candidate is a big picture thinker, self-sufficient and someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The Service Scheduler is responsible for coordinating our service schedules with a high level of focus and quality, to ensure a world class customer service experience for every ThompsonGas customer. This role provides opportunity for growth into future leadership roles for top performers. The Service Scheduler will ensure timely response, scheduling, billing, and follow-up occurs with customers within our Service Areas. The Service Scheduler will plan and manage the day-to-day scheduling of up to 15 service technicians, from inbound customer service requests. They are also responsible for coordinating with our sales, customer service and operations teams to effectively onboard new customers. The Service Scheduler will communicate with our technicians daily to ensure timely response and world class service is delivered on every task and assigned project.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • 2+ years of customer service experience working with both internal and external customers
  • The ability to communicate effectively with customers and at all levels of the ThompsonGas organization
  • Ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Experience in a service dispatching and/or logistics role preferred
  • Cargas Energy Systems or industry related software experience a plus, but not required
  • Propane Industry experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily service schedules of up to 15 service technicians from customer service requests and new inbound sales from phone, email and customer portals
  • Ensure Technician work orders and routes are prepared and dispatched daily
  • Communicate daily with Technicians in field
  • Communicate with Customer Service for scheduling and emergency needs
  • Communicate with Sales Team for best in industry customer onboarding
  • Follow-Up scheduling for additional service needs
  • Review billing for adjustments and customer invoicing
  • Maintain customer accounts with service-related information
