About The Position

Quality Air Heating & Cooling, Inc., a Comfort Systems USA company, is looking for a motivated and relationship-driven Service Sales Representative to support continued growth in the Grand Rapids area. This role is responsible for developing customer relationships and generating preventative maintenance agreement opportunities with commercial and industrial customers. In this position, you will call on key decision makers within commercial and industrial facilities to understand their equipment, maintenance needs, and business objectives. You will present Quality Air’s preventative maintenance programs, communicate the value of ongoing service, and partner with our Service Operations and technical teams to deliver solutions that support long-term customer retention and growth. The ideal candidate is not afraid of prospecting, opening new doors, and building relationships with new contacts. Proven sales or business development experience is preferred. HVAC industry experience is not required; we will provide the necessary training and support for the right candidate.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven record of prospecting, relationship building, and sales results.
  • Self-disciplined, results driven, and motivated to achieve goals through consistent high performance.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to identify customer needs and develop appropriate preventative maintenance solutions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to excel in a collaborative team environment.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software preferred.
  • HVAC industry experience is not required; we will provide the necessary training and support for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect for new commercial and industrial customers and establish relationships with key decision makers.
  • Develop opportunities for preventative maintenance agreements and manage a pipeline of prospective customers.
  • Conduct customer meetings and facility visits to understand equipment, maintenance needs, and customer objectives.
  • Prepare, present, and follow up on maintenance agreement proposals.
  • Deliver executive-level presentations with facility owners, executives, and other key decision makers.
  • Work closely with Service Operations, Technicians, and leadership to ensure maintenance agreements align with customer needs and operational capabilities.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer contacts, sales activity, proposals, and opportunities.
  • Meet established sales and revenue goals for preventative maintenance agreements.
