About The Position

The Service Provider Compliance Specialist plays a critical role in supporting operations by managing the day-to-day execution of the third-party service provider network. This role ensures that all services are delivered in a timely, cost-effective, and high-quality manner—fully aligned with field operations and client expectations. Working as a close partner to account teams, this individual monitors provider performance, ensures compliance with service and pricing standards, and supports issue resolution. They also contribute to the continuous improvement of the provider network through data-driven analysis, structured feedback, and proactive problem-solving.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in service provider management, facilities operations, or service delivery oversight.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data and field insight to drive service performance and accountability.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems used in service operations (e.g., CMMS, ERP, workflow platforms).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for service provider-related operational issues across assigned regions or trades.
  • Coordinate with account operations teams to resolve service delivery issues, pricing discrepancies, or compliance concerns.
  • Ensure service provider adherence to standards for service levels, pricing, system usage, and communication protocols.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for service providers, including response time, service completion, invoice accuracy, and system compliance.
  • Conduct routine audits to verify delivery against service expectations and agreed terms.
  • Escalate repeated performance or compliance issues and support implementation of corrective actions or provider replacements.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with assigned service providers, acting as both a compliance enforcer and a partner in continuous improvement.
  • Conduct structured performance check-ins and gather field input to inform service provider scorecards and improvement plans.
  • Support onboarding and readiness for new service providers with greater urgency and efficiency, ensuring clear communication of performance expectations.
  • Identify outlier pricing or billing patterns through invoice review and data analysis.
  • Collaborate with the Director to maintain pricing benchmarks and support provider negotiations.
  • Contribute to efforts that reduce total cost of ownership (TCO) through strategic network optimization and process standardization.
  • Work closely with NSC colleagues and cross-functional partners (e.g., Finance, Legal, Operations) to align on service provider management objectives and execution.
  • Provide field-facing support, including training and documentation, on service provider management processes and escalation paths.
  • Contribute to the refinement of standard operating procedures (SOPs), compliance protocols, and performance monitoring tools.
