The Project/Service Glazing Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the Superintendent and Field Operations teams to ensure jobs are executed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This position is responsible for coordinating service work, managing documentation, and acting as a key communication link between office staff, field crews, and clients. A Day in the Life: Review contracts and work orders to confirm scope, requirements, and accuracy. Schedule, dispatch, and coordinate service crews based on priority, location, and job requirements. Prepare and issue clear, detailed work orders including scope, site conditions, safety requirements, and timelines. Order and track materials, supplies, and equipment specific to each job. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all service calls and completed work. Communicate effectively with foremen and crews to ensure clarity and efficiency in execution. Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding service inquiries, updates, and scheduling. Respond promptly to urgent service calls (e.g., leaks, emergency repairs) and coordinate immediate dispatch. Track and maintain field staff certifications, licenses, and required safety documentation. Support job costing by tracking labor hours, materials, and service performance. Assist in improving scheduling efficiency, workflows, and overall service operations. Participate in on-call rotation as required to support emergency service needs.
