The Pest Control Service Professional inspects and treats residential and commercial properties using high-quality, environmentally responsible products. The role follows a daily service schedule and requires professionalism and excellent customer service. Hawx welcomes candidates from other hands-on and customer-service-oriented industries and provides training. This is a full-time position paying $18.00–$24.00 per hour. Candidates must pass a background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record check; be at least 21 years old; and have a valid driver's license. The position involves physical labor, including working outdoors and handling pests. Pest control experience is preferred.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license.

Must be able to deliver premier customer service and communicate effectively with people of different backgrounds and personalities.
Must be reliable, punctual, adaptable, and able to manage time, responsibilities, and multiple workflows.
Must be proficient with commonly used documents and software and able to learn new software.
Must be able to prioritize tasks, attend to details, solve problems, and collaborate across departments.
Must work in the presence of pests and have physical labor experience, including working outdoors.
Must be able to bend, lift, sit, stretch, reach, and crouch, and lift at least 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Pest control experience.
Familiarity with Google Workspace tools.

Responsibilities

Perform residential pest management service routes with a high level of customer service, professionalism, and efficiency.
Consult with customers, inspect properties, identify and eliminate conditions conducive to pests, and perform appropriate pest, mosquito, and termite treatments.
Read and interpret pesticide labels and correctly mix products based on measured areas and required quantities.
Record work activities and complete paperwork after services.
Address customer concerns and pest-related issues using integrated pest management strategies.
Maintain and care for company equipment, vehicle, gas card, and other job-related items.
Follow safety policies and procedures and reinforce a culture of safety within the team.
Enter and exit structures and crawl spaces, climb on and over structures, and ascend and descend stairs and ladders.
