About The Position
Hawx Pest Control is a technology-driven pest management company that uses state-of-the-art equipment and environmentally conscious products to protect customers and their properties. The Service Professional inspects properties and performs pest control treatments for residential and commercial customers using high-quality, environmentally responsible products. The role follows a daily service schedule and requires professionalism, strong customer service, and safe work practices. Candidates from other hands-on and customer-service industries are welcome; training is provided.
Requirements
- Must pass the required background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record check.
- Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license.
- Must work well in the presence of all pests.
- Physical labor experience, including working outdoors.
- Ability to bend, lift, sit, stretch, reach, and crouch.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage tasks, time, and responsibilities.
- Strong customer-service, communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to adapt to different personality styles and collaborate with team members and other departments.
- Proficient with commonly used documents and software, including word processing and spreadsheets, and able to learn new software.
- Able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple workflows, and improve operational efficiency.
Nice To Haves
- Pest control experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace tools is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Inspect residential and commercial properties and perform pest control treatments.
- Provide premier customer service and resolve pest-related issues.
- Read and interpret pesticide labels and correctly mix products based on measured areas and required quantities.
- Record work activities and complete service paperwork.
- Perform residential pest management routes efficiently and professionally.
- Consult with customers, inspect properties, identify conducive conditions, and perform appropriate pest, mosquito, or termite treatments.
- Maintain and care for company equipment, vehicle, gas card, and other job-related items.
- Address customer concerns using integrated pest management strategies.
- Follow safety policies and procedures and reinforce a culture of safety within the team.
