About The Position

Kendall Auto Group is seeking a Service Porter to join their Reconditioning team at the Kendall Ford Commercial Service Center. This is an entry-level position in a fast-paced environment where the porter will be responsible for moving and parking vehicles, driving them to other Kendall locations within the Treasure Valley, and occasionally obtaining vehicle information, retrieving parts, washing and vacuuming vehicles, and maintaining the cleanliness of the service drive. The role offers training and opportunities for career advancement within the auto industry, with potential paths in service or sales. The position requires working both indoors and outdoors, greeting customers, and involves standing/walking up to 75% of the time, with bending, twisting, and kneeling as needed for vehicle access.

Requirements

• Capacity to operate a wide variety of vehicles including cars, trucks, and vans, including hybrid models
• Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission
• A good, clean driving record
• Valid driver license

Responsibilities

• Moving and parking vehicles frequently
• Driving vehicles to other Kendall locations within the Treasure Valley
• Occasionally obtaining information for vehicles and repair orders
• Retrieving parts and supplies
• Washing exterior of vehicles
• Vacuuming interiors of vehicles
• Janitorial tasks to keep service drive clean and presentable
• Greeting customers in the service drive
