About The Position
Murdock Auto Team is looking for a dependable, hardworking Service Department Porter to join our Service Team. If you enjoy working around vehicles, take pride in providing excellent customer service, and want to be part of a fast-paced dealership, we'd love to meet you.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean, organized workplace.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Moving customer and dealership vehicles safely throughout the service drive and lot.
- Keeping the service drive, customer lounge, and parking areas clean and organized.
- Assisting Service Advisors and Technicians with daily operational needs.
- Washing, vacuuming, and preparing vehicles for customer delivery as needed.
- Maintaining the appearance of the dealership's inventory and service lot.
- Shuttling customers or picking up/delivering vehicles when authorized.
- Performing other duties as assigned to support the Service Department.
