About The Position

The Service Porter is a vital member of the service department team, ensuring smooth operations and a positive customer experience. You'll be responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and moving vehicles, while also assisting service advisors and technicians. No prior automotive industry experience is required to apply!

Requirements

Demonstrating a high “HQ” (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Certifications: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Strong work ethic with a positive and helpful attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Good physical condition able to perform manual labor tasks (standing, bending, lifting).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Safely move vehicles within the service department (between service bays, parking lots, etc.).
Organize vehicles on the service lot according to dealership display standards.
Assist with customer vehicle pick-up and drop-off.
Provide a friendly and professional demeanor to customers.
Assist customers with loading and unloading belongings from their vehicles.
Answer basic customer questions and direct them to service advisors when needed.
Maintain a clean and organized service area (sweeping, vacuuming, removing trash).
Assist service advisors and technicians with tasks as directed.
May shuttle customers to and from dealership (if applicable).
May perform errands for the service department, such as picking up parts.
Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
Other duties as assigned
