About The Position

Kendall Auto Mall in Fairbanks is hiring for a Service Porter to join their service team. This is an entry-level position offering the opportunity to learn the automotive industry. The ideal candidate is available for full-time hours, has proven customer service experience, and is enthusiastic about their work. A driver's license and clean driving record are required as moving vehicles through the shop is a necessary job duty.

Requirements

• Ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles including cars, trucks, and vans, including hybrid models
• Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission

Responsibilities

• Moving and parking service vehicles as needed
• Communicating and providing superior customer service to service clients
• Directing service customers to the appropriate advisor
• Obtaining basic information from vehicles to assist with check-in process
• Retrieving parts and supplies
• Operating snow removal equipment
• Washing exterior of vehicles
• Vacuuming interiors of vehicles
• Performing janitorial tasks to keep the service drive clean and presentable
