About The Position

Kendall Auto Group is seeking a Service Porter to join their Kendall Ford Lincoln team in Anchorage. This entry-level position offers training and opportunities for career advancement within the automotive industry, whether in service or sales. The role involves ensuring vehicles are moved and parked correctly, driving Kendall vehicles safely, and representing the Kendall brand. It's a full-time, hourly position starting at $18.00/hour.

Requirements

• Capacity to operate a wide variety of vehicles including cars, trucks, and vans, including hybrid models
• Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission
• Good, clean driving record
• Valid driver license

Responsibilities

• Moving and parking service vehicles as needed
• Communicating and providing superior customer service to service clients
• Directing service customers to the appropriate advisor
• Obtaining basic information from vehicles to assist with check in process
• Retrieving parts and supplies
• Operating snow removal equipment
• Washing exterior of vehicles
• Vacuuming interiors of vehicles
• Performing janitorial tasks to keep the service drive clean and presentable
