About The Position

Kendall Auto Group is hiring a full-time Service Porter to join its Subaru service team. This entry-level position provides an opportunity to learn the automotive industry while supporting the service team and delivering customer service. The role works indoors and outdoors in a shop environment and includes greeting customers in the service drive. Kendall Auto Group is a family-owned and operated company with dealerships in Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Montana, and Alaska, and has sold and serviced vehicles since 1937.

Requirements

Proven customer service experience.
Enthusiasm for work.
Capacity to operate a wide variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, vans, and hybrid models.
Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
Valid driver license and a good, clean driving record.
Availability for full-time hours.

Responsibilities

Move and park service vehicles as needed.
Communicate with service clients and provide superior customer service.
Direct service customers to the appropriate advisor.
Obtain basic information from vehicles to assist with the check-in process.
Retrieve parts and supplies.
Operate snow removal equipment.
Wash vehicle exteriors and vacuum vehicle interiors.
Perform janitorial tasks to keep the service drive clean and presentable.
