About The Position

Alliance Dealer Solutions is hiring a Service Porter to support automotive dealership service operations. The role helps maintain an efficient, organized service drive by preparing, moving, relocating, and maintaining customer vehicles, while providing friendly and attentive customer service. It requires safe and courteous driving, attention to detail, reliability, adaptability, and the ability to handle active physical work. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Safe and courteous driving skills.
• Customer service orientation, attention to detail, reliability, adaptability, teamwork, professionalism, communication skills, and problem-solving ability.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles promptly after the greeter has welcomed the customer.
• Move vehicles toward the front of the service drive to keep the area organized and uncluttered, maintaining control of keys.
• Relocate service vehicles to designated areas such as detail, the service lot, the shop, or tinting, recording the spot number and placing the key in its proper location.
• Maintain vehicles while they are in the dealership’s care and use safe driving techniques.
• Before customer pickup, ensure the vehicle is clean, has no indicator lights, and has appropriately set radio and climate controls.
• Perform other tasks as needed to support smooth dealership operations.
• Move with urgency when not driving, remain focused while operating customer vehicles, follow safety guidance, ask for help when needed, and learn site operations to work efficiently.
