About The Position
Lexus of Westminster is seeking a reliable Service Porter and Car Wash Crew Member to maintain the cleanliness of customer and loaner vehicles. The role includes washing, waxing, and organizing dealership vehicle inventory while following quality and safety standards. The position typically involves 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime and rotating Saturday shifts. Physical tasks include lifting up to 50 pounds, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and handling cleaning equipment. Uniform jerseys are provided.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks such as kneeling, crouching, and handling cleaning tools.
Responsibilities
- Wash and wax cars and trucks efficiently according to manager instructions.
- Follow dealership standards and supervisor directions to perform tasks accurately.
- Tag vehicle keys correctly and ensure they match vehicle descriptions.
- Maintain a clean and organized shop area, including accounting for dealership tools.
- Comply with federal, state, and local regulations related to waste disposal and safety.
- Organize dealership vehicle inventory.
