About The Position
The Service Parts Associate is responsible for assisting all Distribution Business customers, technicians, and other parts personnel in securing needed parts and supplies under moderate or direct supervision. This role is for the Distribution business in West Valley City, UT.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer parts counter support including answering calls, assisting walk-in customers, and processing orders
- Complete all required paperwork and accurately process cash, check, and credit card transactions
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers by responding to needs and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Utilize systems, catalogs, and collaborate with technicians to identify and source parts efficiently
- Support inventory management, shipping/receiving, warehouse activities, and stock control as needed
- Assist in sourcing complex parts requests and identifying cost-effective alternatives under supervision
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional parts counter and warehouse environment
- Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards, policies, and procedures including PPE compliance
