About The Position

Looking for a great entry into the Auto Dealership service world? Have an interest in cars? Looking for a place to start a life-long career? Steve Moyer Subaru is currently seeking an energetic individual to fill a roll as a Service & Parts Support Associate. This role is for someone who would be a versatile, cross-trained team member who supports both the service and parts departments to ensure efficient daily operations and an exceptional customer experience. This role flexes between multiple responsibilities including Express Service Advisor, Parts Associate, and Service Lane Porter/Car Washer based on business needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities throughout the day
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Ability to operate both manual and automatic vehicles preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Previous automotive dealership experience is a plus, but not required
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude
  • Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
  • Willingness to learn multiple roles and grow within the organization
  • Dependable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly in the service lane and provide a professional, friendly first impression
  • Write up basic maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotations, etc.)
  • Clearly communicate recommended services, timelines, and pricing
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient workflow
  • Keep customers informed on vehicle status and estimated completion times
  • Close out repair orders and review services performed with customers
  • Assist technicians and with parts lookups and fulfillment
  • Accurately pick, stage, and distribute parts for service jobs
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of the parts department
  • Assist with inventory control, stocking, and returns
  • Support retail and wholesale parts customers as needed
  • Greet customers in the service drive and direct traffic efficiently
  • Move vehicles safely throughout the dealership and service lot
  • Wash and valet vehicles for delivery to customers
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service lane
