About The Position

Provide subject matter expertise and operational support to clients, advisors, and key business partners regarding Client Account Maintenance (CAM) processes, procedures, and initiatives. Deliver guidance, coaching, and feedback to associates to improve the accuracy, efficiency, and quality of operational processing. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, employee development, collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence. This position can be based out of our Minneapolis, Charlotte, or Las Vegas office.

Requirements

  • Associates degree.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience required.
  • Post-secondary education and relevant work experience may be interchanged to meet the combined total years of minimum required qualifications for education and experience.
  • Previous experience working on a customer service team, including a strong working knowledge of customer service processes, policies, techniques, and applicable regulations.
  • Prior experience coaching team members.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex issues in a clear, understandable manner.
  • Strong knowledge of business operations and processes in more than two areas.
  • Good analytical, quantitative & problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work under tight timeframes and deadlines, while achieving a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong, positive relationships and influence others without having direct leadership accountability.
  • Applicants must have a valid work authorization that does not now, or in the future, require visa sponsorship for employment in the United States (e.g., H-1B, F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, TN).

Nice To Haves

  • Product-specific or financial services industry experience.
  • Experience with Ameriprise customer policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for CAM processes, policies, and operational initiatives.
  • Provide operational support and issue resolution for complex client and advisor servicing matters.
  • Coach and develop associates to enhance processing quality, productivity, and customer experience.
  • Participate in risk management, control, audit, and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance and operational effectiveness.
  • Contribute to business initiatives, projects, and process improvement efforts that increase efficiency and reduce operational risk.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify and address operational needs while supporting strategic business objectives.
  • Analyze operational challenges and recommend solutions that improve service levels, capacity management, and overall performance.
  • Support the successful implementation of organizational and operational changes across the business.
