About The Position

We’re looking for a strong operational leader to oversee and elevate our Plumbing team in the Omaha market! If you have experience leading skilled trades professionals, driving performance, and building scalable systems, this is your opportunity to make a major impact. Experience in plumbing service is preferred, but not required - we value transferable leadership experience from home services or other field-based industries. As the Service Operations Manager, you’ll own the day-to-day plumbing operations, ensuring our team of plumbers is productive, supported, and delivering exceptional work. You’ll drive scheduling efficiency, technician performance, and operational excellence to position the business for continued growth.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of leadership experience in field service, skilled trades, sales, or operations.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and deliver performance results.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • A balance of people leadership and process improvement expertise.
  • Clear communicator with strong planning and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to work on-site as a hands-on leader in the Omaha area & surrounding markets.

Nice To Haves

  • Plumbing service experience preferred, but not required.
  • Transferable leadership experience in home services or other field-based industries strongly valued.
  • Experience with field service management tools like ServiceTitan is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of plumbers to hit performance goals and deliver high-quality service.
  • Own daily operations by setting priorities, removing roadblocks, and leading with clarity and purpose.
  • Analyze KPIs and implement strategies to improve team performance and profitability.
  • Partner with leadership and sales to align operational execution with business growth.
  • Ensure job quality, material usage, and timelines meet customer and business expectations.
  • Promote and enforce safety, compliance, and quality standards across all job sites.
