About The Position

The Service Operations Assistant supports front-end execution and overall store service operations by assisting with cashier supervision, customer service, and daily operational standards. This role helps ensure efficient checkout flow, strong service performance, and a clean, organized front-end environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Retail or customer service experience required
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Leadership support experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist in overseeing registers, self-checkout, and service desk activities
  • Monitor customer flow and adjust lane coverage to minimize wait times
  • Support opening, closing, and shift transitions
  • Provide backup coverage during peak periods
  • Deliver prompt, friendly, and professional service
  • Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues when needed
  • Support service desk functions including returns, exchanges, and inquiries
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming front-end area
  • Support register accountability and cash handling procedures
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and loss prevention standards
  • Monitor transactions for accuracy and compliance
  • Assist in training and guiding front-end associates
  • Reinforce service standards and operational expectations
  • Provide direction and support during daily operations
  • Support store initiatives, promotions, and performance goals
  • Maintain supplies and organization at registers and service areas
  • Assist with basic reporting and communication to leadership
