About The Position

Complementary Distribution Caterpillar complementary distribution is business line with purpose to deliver RETAIL diesel and gas gensets (recip) up to 200 kVA to USA market. Complementary distribution leverage on independent distribution network, working directly with customers and contractors to increase Caterpillar market participation in USA. About Complementary Distribution - Generator Service Manager We are currently searching for Complementary Distribution - Generator Service Manager in Irving, Texas. The Generator Service Manager will lead organization of up to 10 technicians (service technician, commissioning engineers and trainers) across USA to support customers (of Complementary Distribution business line) with gas & diesel product portfolio up to 200 kVA.

Requirements

Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Bachelor's degree in any technical field (engineering or similar)
5 + years technical experience in Gas or/and Diesel gensets.
2 + years of management experience (manage of small technical Team).

MBA will be considered advantage
Experience in similar role will be considered advantage.
Experience in Power Generation will be considered advantage.

Responsibilities

Part of business line leadership Team.
Leading organization of 10 professionals (service technicians, commissioning engineers and trainers).
Interact with customers on various technical topics such as training, commissioning and aftermarket support.
Support Sales organization.
Interact with supply chain, product management and engineering of Caterpillar on day to day bases.
