Requirements

  • 3/4+ years of experience as a Service Manager in a dealership
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Process-driven with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to drive results and exceed performance goals
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, recruit, train, and develop service staff
  • Drive productivity, efficiency, and profitability in the service department
  • Coach Service Advisors daily to improve performance and customer experience
  • Ensure technicians are trained and equipped to meet customer needs
  • Maintain high CSI and resolve customer concerns professionally
  • Oversee repair order accuracy, compliance, and manufacturer standards
  • Manage warranty, receivables, and service processes
  • Monitor KPIs, control expenses, and drive revenue through reporting (MIS)
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized service environment (OSHA compliant)
  • Lead daily/monthly meetings and ensure team accountability
