About The Position

We’re hiring a Service Manager to lead day-to-day operations of our service department. This role is responsible for driving performance, managing financials, leading the team, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in service/technician role within trucking or dealership industry
  • 3+ years of leadership experience
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Solid business and financial acumen
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • Heavy-Duty or Commercial Transport certification
  • Union environment experience
  • Business or management training

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily service operations, productivity, and quality
  • Manage department budget, revenue, and expenses
  • Monitor performance metrics and address gaps
  • Lead, coach, and develop service team members
  • Partner with HR on hiring, performance, and employee relations
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and support business growth
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and profitability
