About The Position

The team at Cedar Valley Dental Centre located in Nanaimo, BC are looking for a passionate, hard-working Office Manager on a part-time basis. The ideal Office Manager for our team would be excited to develop and implement innovative methods to optimize patient experience, improve the flow of patients into practice, and create working harmonies between the front desk office and dental professional team. 123Dentist is Canada’s largest majority dentist-owned network of dental practices, with almost 500 locations nationwide and nearly 8,000 employees. Requirements

Experience is required in dental office management or dental administration
Highly proficient in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook)
Strong written and communication skills when speaking with patients and dental providers
Strong knowledge of medical and dental terminology and processes
Experience maintaining a professional level of patient privacy
Demonstrated experience managing budgets, and other financial transactions
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
Customer service mindset

Nice To Haves

Experience with dental practice management software such as Cleardent is considered an asset
