About The Position
Texas Roadhouse is seeking a Service Manager to oversee daily Front of House operations and employees, ensuring guests receive Legendary Food and Legendary Service. The role focuses on leading the team, delivering a strong guest experience, maintaining operational and safety standards, and supporting employee development.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales, steps of service, and guest satisfaction.
- Enforce employment policies in conjunction with other managers, and oversee restaurant cleanliness and guest safety.
- Provide or direct all Front of House training.
- Manage Front of House employee performance, including evaluations, coaching, and discipline.
- Manage liquor orders and control liquor costs.
- Enforce applicable liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines.
- Develop key employees, assistant managers, and hourly employees through daily performance feedback during one-on-ones.
- Review applications, interview candidates, and hire or recommend hiring Front of House employees.
- Direct employee work by setting hours and weekly schedules and assigning tasks before, during, and after restaurant hours.
- Create a fun and safe environment by following core values and operational goals and implementing contests, theme nights, and staff incentives.
- Understand, manage, and practice safe food handling procedures.
