About The Position

Build and lead a high-performing service operation from day one, maintaining customer relations and the long-term success of a new location. MH Eby is a family-owned manufacturer of aluminum trailers, truck bodies, and transportation equipment that has been serving customers across North America since 1938. We build products known for quality craftsmanship, durability, and innovation while creating an environment where employees can learn, grow, and contribute across multiple areas of the business, making a meaningful impact for our team & customers alike.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading service, operations, manufacturing, transportation, equipment, agricultural, or related teams
  • Strong customer relationships, operational performance, and team development
  • Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office to support daily operations
  • Comfortable in a shop environment, can confidently engage with technicians and equipment

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the day-to-day operation and help turn MH Eby's new Palmer location into the area's go-to destination for trailer repair, truck body installation, parts, and service.
  • Build relationships with customers, earning their trust through honest communication, quality work, and a commitment to solving problems the right way.
  • Support your team by removing obstacles, helping resolve challenges, and creating an environment where people can do their best work.
  • Keep the shop moving by reviewing schedules, prioritizing work, and making sure customers receive timely, high-quality service.
  • Grow the business by identifying opportunities, strengthening customer partnerships, and helping expand our presence throughout the region.
  • Lead the facility with pride, ensuring the shop, grounds, equipment, and overall operation reflect the standards MH Eby is known for.
  • Develop people through coaching, accountability, and hands-on leadership that helps employees grow both personally and professionally.
  • Bring teams together by working closely with service, parts, sales, and manufacturing to deliver a seamless experience for customers.
