Requirements

Two years of mechanical experience in transport refrigeration preferred.
Basic management experience.
Ability to sit, stand, walk, twist, bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, climb stairs/ladders.
Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50lbs.
Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
Ability to work in hot and cold temperature extremes.
Ability to wear required PPE (personal protective equipment).

Responsibilities

Manage and organize the day-to-day operation of the shop.
Evaluate, service, maintain, and correct unit conditions by conducting inspections, preventative maintenance, and diagnostic testing.
Service and maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and supplies.
Assess and prioritize daily operational activities at the site level.
Support the focus on service goals and standards, while aiding and challenging peers.
Support training and supervision of service personnel as directed by local management.
Maintain excellent customer rapport.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Be available on-call as required by management.
Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
