Service Manager I

As a Service Manager I you will play a key leadership role by guiding and supporting food runners and bussers to create a smooth, efficient dining room experience. They ensure seamless flow, uphold high standards of cleanliness, and deliver exceptional guest satisfaction. Through their daily actions, they drive operational excellence and actively embody and reinforce company values at every touchpoint. Din Tai Fung (DTF) is a globally celebrated, family-owned restaurant brand founded in 1972 and internationally renowned for its iconic Xiao Long Bao. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years restaurant experience in casual or upscale casual dining
- Ability to stand for long period of time
- Ability to lift 20+ lbs
- Hot and cold temperature exposure
- Applicant must be 18 years of age or older and able to provide documentation to work in the United States legally.
Nice To Haves
- 1+ years of restaurant lead or supervisory experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Oversee table turnover, dining room cleanliness, and the efficient delivery of food to guests, maintaining our brand promise of a seamless guest experience.
- Train, coach, and develop bussers and runners, instilling a strong sense of urgency, teamwork, and service pride.
- Communicate clear role expectations, monitor execution, provide feedback, and hold team members accountable to brand standards.
- Manage labor efficiency for bussing and food running teams while ensuring proper staffing during peak times.
- Assist with managing cleaning supplies and service tools essential for efficient FOH operations.
