About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining facilities through various tasks including light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry. The technician will provide general maintenance support, troubleshoot and repair store equipment, and coordinate with service vendors. Communication and documentation of actions and needs are essential for continuity among work teams. Participation in training for new and existing equipment is also required. This position may involve other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have the manual dexterity to operate equipment, work in confined spaces, able to use hand/electric cart, able to use power and hand tools, required crouching and/or crawling, able to use a ladder, and must be able to lift up 80 lbs.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple, changing priorities and ability to work independently.
• 3-5 years experience in the A/C, Refrigeration or Genreal Maintenance field.
• Requires driving a company vehicle to different store locations throughout the division.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains Facilities by performing light electrical, plumbing and carpentry.
• Provides general maintenance support to sites by painting, building/repairing structure, interiors, shelving, cabinets, etc., cleaning and other basic maintenance.
• Maintains store equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning, and performing preventive maintenance.
• Facilitates repairs by contacting service vendors for materials.
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs.
• Will be required to participate in training for existing and new equipment.
• Other duties as assigned or deemed necessary.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
