About The Position

The Production Technician is responsible for safely handling customer’s cylinders in compliance with standard operating procedures. Training is provided to ensure complete understanding of position and department responsibilities. Essential Functions include understanding hazards of various gases and size and contents of cylinders, properly performing inspections of cylinders, and properly and safely handling cylinders.

Requirements

• 0-1 years of work experience.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Strong level of attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend English.
• Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.
• Must be able to read and write and perform mathematical exercises.
• Must be able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities.
• Able to work extended shifts and/or weekends.
• Able to work in a non-climate controlled environment.
• Must be able to roll or lift 75 lb cylinders.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time.
